First flowers of 2021

 i haven't been going down to the river as much as i should, and now we've got snow! Things are definitely getting greener! These were from May 9th though, down by the golf course.

There was a bunch of things coming up.. not sure what they all are exactly though.. not yet anyway.

possibly common oak fern?

i think it's going to be a good year for them, look at all of these!

some ants on some wild bergamot... that whole area is like a giant ant hill!

i think these are some sunflowers, they might be blanketflower though.. both those things grow in this area.

I know that things in my yard have started blooming earlier than they did last year...  i wonder if the snow will stunt things though?
